I was fortunate to have a lovely chat with Fr. Dan Quackenbush, OFM Conv who guided us in the Basilica of St. Francis to visit the Relics of St. Francis of Assisi during the special exhibition in March 2026. This is the Jubilee Year of St. Francis, commemorating the 800th year of his death. Father Dan is an American priest who has been living in Assisi for several years and tells us about the holy man that St. Francis was.
